New England's Haunted Hotspots
Maria here. We're in New England, so I figured I'd search for some supposed hot spots for paranormal activity. I'd like to eventually visit some of these places to see for myself if they're really haunted, but until that's possible I'll scour the internet for information. I'll update this page with any of my findings. To avert any skeptics, I'm neither particularly convinced or not convinced of spirits existing in this world, so my results will be unbiased. I use science.
The hotspots will be categorized by states. If you've confirmed any of these yourself or have an addition for the list just let me know and I will be happy to add it.
~Currently the list is incomplete. I'll update as frequently as possible.

The Bridgewater Triangle
The Bridgewater Triangle
The infamous Bridgewater Triangle is a triangular section of southeastern Massachusetts where numerous paranormal hotspots and cryptozoological sightings exist, ranging from Thunderbirds, Bigfoot, and ghosts to UFOs and black helicopters. It covers about 200 square miles of area and is about 30 miles south of Boston. At its three vertices are Abington, Freetown, and Rehoboth. Other towns inside the triangle are Raynham, Taunton, Brockton, Mansfield, Norton, and Easton.
One of the triangle's most notorious haunted locations is the Hockamock Swamp, in the triangle's western division. It had once been a Native American burial ground
As well as many supposed hotspots, there have also been many UFO sightings. In fact, the first recording UFO sighting (1760) in America was seen from Roxbury and Bridgewater, towns in the triangle. There have been many more sightings since.
Another famed attraction is the Route 44 hitchhiker who appears to be a redheaded male on the side of the road. A few people have even reported accidentally 'running over' the spirit when he suddenly appeared in front of them only to find nobody there when they checked. He doesn't speak, but people report hearing maniacal laughter.
